Cranking the year up

Mid January - and the Custom Orders are flowing in - I have been making Vinties all month - starting off for the first grandchild - (which has not arrived yet!!!)  waiting waiting.   So I have continued with the orders below and some for a Market Night later in the month.

New Year and New Happenings

I have mentioned this before - but just in case you missed it  and to share my progress with the Zero sewing.


January 2014 - new year - new happenings!   We will soon be first time grandparents  in maybe 10 days give or take a few -  mother nature decides this one.  We are extremely excited and it has me sewing zeros this month,  ready for the baby and ready for a ZERO Market later in the month .  Pics are appearing on my facebook page ~ instagram ~ blog ~ pinterest to mention a few.  If you get a chance please take a look so  cute and some are so tiny   0000.

Christmas is over

I am so pleased Christmas is over......lovely to see you all but I love to get back to normal.  Which for me is sewing.   A small break over Christmas from the sewing is enough for me,  we are on countdown with under 14 days until we can expect our first grandchild, which means I am rushing in some small zero size sewing, we don't know the sex which means I need to cater for both.   (double sewing I am up for).  With this I am planning to hold a ZERO Market later in the month - depending on a few variables will announce a date for that at a later stage.   For now I have some 'action' pics to share of Miss L in her Ruffle Playsuit - Tanya Whelan fabric Barefoot Roses - beautiful indeed.  {love the action pics}

Lucky Girls Are Ready.

Lucky Girl Market

Yes we are such Lucky Girls!!!

I have been super busy here gearing up for the Market next weekend.  My favourite fabrics (atm)  Jennifer Paganelli  'Lucky Girl'  have been in action here snipping, stitching and adorning my sewing room .  They are gorgeous and I am sure you will love them too.   I have a few ladies joining me as well  - (they love JP toooo)  .

End of the week for some...

Lots of orders here atm  so while some Friday's are the end of the work week,  it is continuing here throughout the weekend.    I think I have mentioned before how I do love to receive the 'action pics'  it really makes my day to see my outfits out and about,  today Veronica shared her gorgeous 'astronaut girl' pics.  This is the fourth time Veronica has asked me to create for their  photo shoot - I feel so privileged and really adore this little girl with her beautiful face and hair.   Captured so well by  penelope - j photography  thanks to you both for including me.

Meanwhile Go Gidget Shorts are still on the go!!!  with these couple ready to move on.

And a special friend from way back has found me and buying up for her grandies,  thanks Delmay.

So it has been a very busy week -    and there is one more....... but it's for a local outing in a weeks time so maybe we will keep that a secret.  I often get asked how many items I make in a week......... I don't count I enjoy sewing so much it is all a pleasure .

There is always so many cute things to make - and hard to know which one to do next!  I was recently asked to make some shorts that I have been admiring  for a while, fantastic......... a legitimate excuse to get another pattern!  mmmm

I call them 'Go Gidget Shorts'  pattern by Felicity Sewing Patterns and I love these so much.
